BOSS OB/GYN Starter Package
The BOSS OB/GYN Package is an excellent way to set up a basic to advanced suturing skills lab for Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Midwifery training.
The Package includes a BOSS platform, the Perineal Repair Trainer, the Student Tissue Pack, Suturing Instrument Kit, and a Guided Surgical Skills Training Video and Self-Assessment Metrics developed by the University of Washington.
Package Components Overview: The Basic Open Surgical Skills (BOSS) is a flexible platform for developing basic to advanced surgical skills. The Perineal Repair Trainer is the only soft tissue model for first to fourth-degree perineal tears for anatomical and procedural training. Anatomy includes the vaginal and anal canals, vaginal mucosa, rectovaginal fascia, transverse perineal muscle, external anal sphincter - enabling end to end repair and ischial spine for performing a pudendal nerve block.
